This upgraded fuse box boasts the same classic appearance but utilizes blade-style fuses instead of the outdated torpedo fuses. Blade fuses are known for providing lower electrical resistance, which significantly enhances the efficiency of your vehicle's electrical system. Moreover, this modernized 2002 fuse box features a design that ensures it will not lose spring pressure over time, a common problem with the old torpedo fuses that often leads to intermittent electrical failures. By changing to blade-style fuses, you will notice a marked improvement in the reliability and efficiency of your 2002's electrical system. Upgrading to our blade fuse box replacement kit means you are investing in the long-term performance and dependability of your classic BMW 2002.

2002s used two variants of the 12-fuse box. Early cars (built between 3/1971 and 8/1973) used part #61131352373, while late cars (built between 8/1973 and 7/1977) used part #61131357062. BMW E3 Models built between 9/1973 and 7/1977 used part #61131357062.

To determine which variant your car has, simply look at the fuse box: The difference is which fuses are connected together. Fuse boxes with part# 61131357062 have 4 cross links two fuses wide forming a T shape. Fuse boxes with part# 61131352373 have two connectors that are 2 fuses wide, and one connector that is three fuses wide.
