Genuine BMW & Aftermarket Door Latch Buffer SET (4 Bump Stops)
This little plastic cap is amazingly VERY important to the door latch system on many classic model BMWs. When this piece breaks, falls off, and is lost, the door latch mechanism will suddenly get very wonky, resistant to latching, with an unusual hard / metallic thud when closing. Once you install a new door latch buffer (this brilliant little piece of plastic) the door latch is instantly smoother, quieter, and as it was designed to work. 

First used on the classic 2002 & 2002tii models, this door latch plastic cap piece was used on the E9 Coupes, the first generation 3 series (E21), first & second generation 5 series (E12 & E28), first generation 6 series (E24), and first generation 7 series (E23).
